Work with me

Different doors. The same work.

There’s no program to enroll in. There’s the work — figuring out what you actually want, and building a life that feels like yours instead of one that just looks right — and a few different ways in, depending on where you are right now.

Three ways to start

Stuck on one specific thing

One-off problem-solving

Sometimes you don’t need a coaching relationship. You need someone who’s been in the chair to look at one hard situation with you — a conflict you can’t get traction on, a decision you keep circling, a pattern you can feel but can’t name. What I bring is a read from outside it: your situation run through what the research actually says and what I learned the hard way — not advice from a stage.

Here’s how it works. You send me the problem through a few short questions: the situation, what you've tried, what a good outcome would look like. I read it and tell you straight whether I can actually help. If I can’t, I’ll say so, and point you somewhere better if I can. No charge to find out.

I’ll tell you within a few days whether I can help. If we go, you’ll have my written read inside a week — what I actually think is going on, the idea from the literature that fits, and what I’d do Monday. If it’s the kind of thing that opens up better out loud, we get on a call. Bounded, direct, done.

You want to do the deeper work

One-on-one coaching

The ongoing version. We meet on a rhythm that’s useful and no more, and we go after the real questions: what do you actually want, what’s draining you, where are you in your own way, and what would a life that feels like yours actually look like.

No script. No blowing up your life. Subtle shifts that compound.

Two ways in, and most people end up working both: the fulfillment door — is this the life I built? — and the leadership door — how do people actually see me?

Let’s talk

Tired of carrying it alone

A True North circle

A small, confidential group of surgeons — five or six — who finally have a room where they can tell the truth about the work and their lives. A book is the doorway. The real thing is what happens when people who’ve each been carrying it alone find out they never were.

I’ve run these for years, with no marketing, because surgeons came looking. It’s the work I’m proudest of, and the hardest to find anywhere else.

Ask about a circle

Send me the problem

Only I read what you send. It doesn’t go on a list, and it isn’t shared.

Not sure which door?

That’s the normal place to start. Tell me where you are and we’ll find it together.
